Aging is often treated as an inevitable background condition of life. This session takes a different starting point: what if aging is a tractable engineering problem?
Eric Magro from the Longevity Biotech Fellowship will introduce a technical roadmap for solving aging, organized around three major categories of intervention: bioengineering to repair the underlying biology, replacement to swap out failing systems, and biostasis to preserve people until repair or replacement becomes available.
This is not a wellness talk or a supplement discussion. It is a technical overview of the scientific paths, open bottlenecks, and frontier projects that could define the next generation of longevity biotechnology.
衰老通常被看作生命中不可避免的背景条件。但这场分享会从另一个出发点开始：如果衰老本身是一个可以被工程化解决的问题呢？
来自 Longevity Biotech Fellowship 的 Eric Magro 将介绍一套关于“解决衰老”的技术路线图，围绕三类核心干预路径展开：通过 bioengineering / 生物工程 修复底层生物机制，通过 replacement / 系统替换 替换衰退或失效的组织与器官系统，以及通过 biostasis / 生物停滞与保存 为未来的修复或替换技术争取时间。

Longevity Biotech Fellowship, or LBF, is a global community and launchpad for people serious about solving aging. Founded in 2022, LBF brings together scientists, founders, engineers, investors, operators, and policy advocates who want to work on ambitious longevity biotechnology projects.
LBF is not a general wellness community. It is focused on technically serious approaches to ending biological aging, helping members build, join, fund, or support projects that could meaningfully change the trajectory of human lifespan.

Eric Magro is part of the leadership team at Longevity Biotech Fellowship, where he works on operations and community-building for ambitious longevity biotechnology efforts. His work spans longevity movement-building, biostasis, cryonics, and policy advocacy around longer, healthier lives.
