What is a good conversation? Can we have them with complete strangers?
If bland conversations and formulaic responses leave you unsatisfied, you are cordially invited to participate in an evening of dialogue; featuring a Conversation Menu by the philosopher and social historian Theodore Zeldin, we hope to answer the very question we started with:
Humans have a system and wide range of vocabulary to determine goodness in things like food, wine and tea — but what do we define as a good conversation? Join us in developing our own unique conversational fingerprint, at both the individual and communal level.
*Note: this particular session does not actually come with food but participants are welcome to bring their own food or have dinner before attending
