Some names, we’ve seen countless times — on Telegram, X, and group chats.
Some avatars, we’ve joked with, stayed up late talking to, reacted to, and quietly supported from behind a screen.
But we’ve never really sat down and shared a proper meal together.
That’s what this night is for.
A night to finally turn the screens off.
This is GCC’s first annual gathering since the community began over two years ago —
and for many of us, the first time “internet friends” become real people in the same room.
We’ll gather around a hot pot table,
share a light-hearted but honest annual recap,
look back at the projects we’ve supported, the wrong turns we took, and the choices that truly mattered.
Throughout the evening, there will be awards, raffles, and small surprises —
for you, and for everyone who has quietly stayed with us.
There will be instruments, karaoke, and an open mic spirit —
if you want to sing, perform, tell a story, rant a little, or improvise, you’re welcome.
From now through early February, Chiang Mai will be filled with people thinking about what comes next:
ETH Chiang Mai, WAMO 2026, the Digital Nomad Summit 2026,
and on the same day and at the same venue, the Cypherpunk × Thinkers Assembly.
Some of those speakers and friends will also be joining our hot pot night.
If, at any moment,
a GCC project, a late-night conversation, or a shared idea ever meant something to you —
