THE THEME:

We’ll be reading two poems, one by an Argentine poet and one by an American poet, both having to do with “sense of place.” We’ll discuss:

What does it mean to belong in a world that keeps changing?

As we imagine new technologies, cities, and ways of living, what anchors us? How can we feel at home?

THE SETUP:

One circle will read and discuss in English and another circle in Spanish, with an idea swap at the end.

THE PLACE:

We’ll set up in the grass outside Casa Histórica. And in case of bad weather, we’ll move inside the coworking.

*The circles will be separate, so you don’t need to speak Spanish to come :)

QUESTIONS:

Should I still come if I’ve never read a poem before? Yes.

Should I come if I can only stay a few minutes? Yes.

¿Debería ir si prefiero leer en español? Sí, claro!
