Ethereum is a credibly neutral platform for human collaboration and trustless, decentralized applications. It serves as the foundation of many of the tools and applications being used and built here at Edge City.

Let’s gather for a collaborative Ethereum R&D Reading Group where we can discuss topics relevant to the core Ethereum protocol: upcoming EIPs, cutting edge moon math, and everything in between. We will take turns sharing interesting topics, and hold open discussions about them. Some general blockchain knowledge would absolutely be helpful, but each topic should be presented in an accessible manner for those who are curious to listen in and learn.

I recommend that participants pick 1-2 topics to introduce to the group. These can be EIPs, ethresear.ch or blog posts, or social media ramblings. Be prepared to explain your topic at an introductory-intermediate level over 5-10 minutes (assume some basic blockchain knowledge but not too much Ethereum-jargon-specific background). We can then get into more in-depth technical conservation as desired.

For anyone looking for a place to start, consider checking the Fusaka Scheduled for Inclusion list, some EIPs are quite straightforward, so pick one, give it a read, and come ready to pass on what you’ve learned. Glamsterdam has a lot of potential options at this point as well.
