The Open Internet Club is a community space to explore how we can build the Open Internet — together.
Through a series of hands-on workshops, we’ll experiment with Circles, a community currency system where money is created through trust.

You’ll learn by doing, and imagine new ways of connecting, trading, and creating value p2p.

Each session builds on the previous one: we’ll start by joining and understanding Circles, then test how it works in real life (buying some goods), and finally co-create new ideas and prototypes for the Open Internet to be built in Circles.

It’s time to put $OPEN to use. In this session, participants will experience a real local market. Grab a coffee or pastry by paying with $OPEN and see firsthand how p2p value exchange feels.
Afterwards, we’ll co-create a Use-Case Wall to brainstorm how local communities could integrate $OPEN: from cafés to craft markets to shared resources.
We’ll collect feedback to improve the user experience and understand how people perceive the value of community currencies.
