The home is the place we spend the most time, and today’s ‘default’ housing is the single family home or apartment. But a growing cohort of people are experimenting with ways to live more communally, whether under the same roof, a ‘bestie row’ of friends with tiny homes near each other, and beyond. Gillian Morris is co-author of Supernuclear, which showcases the many ways we can rethink our domestic (and urban) environments with community at the core. She has founded/managed coliving communities in New York, Puerto Rico, and the Bay Area over the last ten years.

Chris Murphy is the founder of Familiar Spaces and currently developing a 20-unit co-housing community in Mexico City, in partnership with ReUrbano - a Mexican developer famous for adaptive re-use and mixed use urbanism - and a collective of architects (project info here: https://bit.ly/3AaOnBq). His background is in construction technology, housing policy, and software.

Charlotte Fradet is a community builder and evolutionary event producer. In Costa Rica, she founded Unity Coliving and helped catalyze a retreat center called Protopia, as well as Traditional Dream Factory in Portugal, a DAO-governed regenerative village. She is a co-author of How to Build a Regenerative Village and also produces events that foster systemic change.
