Solarpunk is a literary and artistic genre, but above all an activist movement that envisions and works for a sustainable future where humankind lives in harmony with nature. Solarpunk challenges current narratives dominated by dystopian visions, advocating for optimism and community-driven change.
In this gathering, we’ll be introducing the broad spectrum of principles and visions of the Solarpunk movement, and we’ll reflect on how important positive inspiring narratives are to take care of our mental and emotional well-being.
About the speakers
Day Sanchez is a school psychologist and educational specialist and steward of Solarpunk Generation.
Patrick Ribeiro is a Solarpunk and leads the movement in Lisbon. Professional, he is engaged in supporting ecosystem restoration projects by building the map-based project presentation platform explorer.land
