Circling is pretty hard to explain, it’s best to experience it, but here are some pointers:
- You don't need to know anything, just bring your present self and reflect to us what's alive in you
- circling may sound like a conversation at times, but it’s fundamentally an embodiment and meditation practice, where the object of your attention is your experience in connection with others. you can be silent / embody feelings or impulses nonverbally / name things (thoughts, emotions, sensations and other aspects of your experience…) / find a flow through all of that
- we’ll have some warmup exercises, but the main practice happens in lightly held unstructured spaces, inviting you to step into your self-leadership / self-authorship / self-ownership
- it could be therapeutic, but it’s officially not therapy and also it can be somewhat disorienting
