Muse events at Oxford pair you with a stranger and give you a conversation menu to choose from. They were developed by the cultural historian Theodore Zeldin.
It's a menu (literally) of topics he developed over decades.
Your host has kept up with an actual menu from one of these dinners, so this will be the real thing! Plus, we added a new section to make your Edge Esmeralda experience unique.

Join us in person at The Loft where you’ll meet your partner.** So like, you’ll go up to people and ask ✨"[secret word]?"✨ and see if someone says yes. And if you hear someone else saying "[secret word]" that's your partner!
Important: You’ll need to pick a spot for dinner with your partner and be fully committed to participating and asking one another questions from the menu.
