Concept Clinic is a behavioral health studio and experimental test lab for cutting edge wellness practices.
At Edge Esmeralda our aim is to stimulate field-building by bringing together a diverse range of mental health clinicians and wellness experts, cross-pollinating information and techniques.
Concept Clinic at Edge Esmeralda will:
Provide free Enlightenment Therapy services to visitors and residents throughout the program, bookable through Telegram (t.me/hamdinsula)
Host 2 larger modality-based activations for larger groups. We’ll be collaborating with Joe Edelman and Ellie Hain for a Values Exploration event, and Catarina Brazao and Markus Pesonen for a Somatic Sound Journey.
Host 1 larger unconference for 25-40 participants on the theme of bringing together clinicians and innovative community leaders to address social wellness.
Our goal is to foster dialogue and skill-sharing about integrative care work with communities, and building interprofessional collaboration.
I’m Toby Shorin. Currently I work as a mental health researcher and entrepreneur. I’ve studied online communities and subcultures for over a decade, and previously founded the crypto research institute Other Internet.
My new research project, Care Culture, (https://careculture.is) documents my explorations of different health & wellness cultures. Concept Clinic is a test lab where I implement novel combinations of behavioral health, wellness, and cultural healing modalities.
