FIRE English Book Club is an English-speaking book club for people who love money, mindset and learning. For our first book, we read a short piece of The Almanack of Naval Ravikant together, then talk about it in small groups. Come with a learner's attitude. Your English does not need to be perfect. You just need to speak.
How it works
- Come any time in the first 10 minutes. No RSVP needed.
- Say hello to your small group of 3 to 4 people.
- Everyone reads the same chapters for about 30 minutes. There are a few words to know for each chapter.
- In your group, share the sentence you chose and talk about the questions. Each group picks one or two people to speak to the room.
- Then we talk together. Anyone can speak.
The book is free online: https://navalmanack.com/
We read a few chapters each time, and each meeting reads different chapters, so you can join any meeting without reading the earlier ones.
When: Wed 11 Nov, 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Where: 1st Floor, 4Seas Nimman Coliving Coworking Space, Chiang Mai
