    Session 2

Tired people push emotions down, they have no time or energy to deal with them now; so they show up later. Rested people let emotions move, because that's what they're for.

In Session 2 of the Tired of Being Tired series, we will revise emotion as informational energy: what fear, anger, envy, and even hatred are actually trying to tell us, and why suppressing them costs more energy than reading them. We will also look what role does imagination play on our emotions. You'll leave with a practical way to tell real threats from imagined ones, and a breathing anchor (NBN) to return to your centre..

    You'll leave knowing:

    • Why emotions are information, how to read them, how to anticipate and prepare for them

    • How to tell whether fear is responding to something real or something anticipated

    • Why our imagination needs framing

    • How to use NBN breathing to regulate enough to actually listen to what you're feeling

    Session 1:

Understanding Your Energy & Stress Responses

Tired people make many decisions. Rested people make a few important ones, and let their values and frameworks do the rest.

In this first session of the Tired of Being Tired series, Systemic Coach EQA Isabel Ve unpacks why we get exhausted (literally and figuratively) through the lens of the nervous system. You have heard about fight, flight, freeze, and fawn; we will review them as predictable survival responses, and you'll leave with a breathing technique (NBN) you can use immediately to shift out of any of them.

    You'll leave knowing:

    • Why your energy crashes follow a pattern, not a personality flaw

    • How to do diaphragmatic (NBN) breathing — and why it works

    • How to recognise freeze, fight, flight, and fawn in your own daily life

Just bring your body and let it do the talking.
