此次工作坊是一次动手之旅，体验如何将感官观察与制作制造有效结合起来，在超越人类的语境里开展设计研究。 在“以人为本”的设计实践中，观察和访谈是重要的研究部分，帮助我们与设计对象建立共情，探索意想不到的洞察。当设计领域和设计挑战转变为“以自然为本”时，我们又该如何建立共情、探索洞察呢？ 此次工作坊是一次实验，探究如何运用设计和制作制造来丰富我们探索自然的感官。我们将使用经济易得的材料和实物构思的技巧来制作探索自然的工具：它们的功能可能并不显而易见，也可能没有专门的名称，所以… 我们… 叫它们 "whatchamacallit"？

This workshop is a hands-on journey to experience how sensorial observation and fabrication can be effectively combined to conduct design research in a more-than-human context.In the Human Centred Design practice, observations and interviews are a crucial part of the research phase to establish empathy with the people we are designing for and explore new and unexpected points of view. How can we produce the same results when dealing with Nature Centred domain and challenges?The workshop is an experiment of how we can use design and fabrication to enrich our senses in the exploration of Nature. We will use cheap materials and physical ideation techniques to fabricate our personal exploration tools: their function might not be obvious and they might not have a dedicated name, so... "whatchamacallit"?
